The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America, (CCFA) Maryland/Southern Delaware Chapter presents an Evening with Richard Elliot and Friends featuring Bob Baldwin, Marion Meadows and Phil Perry.
Supporters and fans alike will come together for a gala night of entertainment as the incomparable Smooth Jazz saxophonist Richard Elliot brings his music magic and high powered show to The Music Center at Strathmore’s elegant concert hall. In the 70s he toured with the Pointer Sisters and Natalie Cole, between concerts recording with Smokey Robinson, The Four Tops, The Temptations and The Yellow Jackets. The 80s found Richard touring with Melissa Manchester and Rick Springfield while he fine tuned his craft as a member of the Tower of Power Horn section with trumpeter Greg Adams. He’s had four #1 Contemporary Jazz albums, been nominated for Five Oasis Smooth Jazz Awards and has since gone on to become a major frontrunner in the world of Smooth Jazz.
This is CCFA’s 1 st Annual Benefit Concert to raise funds to support their mission which is to cure and prevent Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.
 Opening the evening will be internationally renowned keyboardist Bob Baldwin, featuring saxophonist Marion Meadows, and the emotionally charged vocalist Phil Perry.
